In a year when all three parish football teams again made the playoffs and one advancing to the quarterfinals, several players received honors for their on-field achievements by being named to their respective All-District teams. Even with an up-and-down season, Oakdale produced seven players on the All-District first team list in District 5-2A. Jacob Black cracked the list on the offensive and defensive sides. At the wide receiver position, he hauled in 28 catches for 418 yards and five touchdowns. As a defensive back, he accounted for 28 tackles, five passes broken up, three interceptions, and one fumble recovery.
